Schizonepeta tenuifolia is the whole plant of Schizonepeta tenuifolia [schizonepetatenuifolia(Benth.)Briq.], which is rich in volatile oil, about 1.8%. The main components of volatile oil from Schizonepeta tenuifolia are dextral menthone (d-mentho-ne), racemic menthone and a small amount of dextral limonene (d-Iimonene). We distilled the whole dried Schizonepeta with steam to obtain pale yellow volatile oil. Gas chromatography confirmed that Schizonepeta oil is a multi-component mixture, and the main component may be artemisinin (Artemisia alcohol). For

Summary:
objective to develop a hydrogel-type wassel oil foam aerosol for the treatment of vaginitis. Methods The foam elimination rate was used as the inspection index, and the L9(34) orthogonal test was used to select the process prescription. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects of the preparation were investigated and examined in accordance with the relevant provisions of the 2005 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. Results The best process parameters were as follows: using 2% surfactant, mixed gel matrix, 8% propellant and operating temperature of 30 ℃, the foam of the hydrogel-type wassa mustard oil foam aerosol was white, uniform, fine and lasting for a long time (about 65min), and the effect of killing pathogenic bacteria was good, which was in line with the relevant provisions of the 2005 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. Conclusion The formulation design and preparation process of the hydrogel type wassel oil foam aerosol in this experiment are reasonable, which provides a new preparation type for the application of wassel oil.
